  • Beyblade Battle Tournament - London (March 2025)

On Saturday, the 15th of March, BBN London proudly hosted the largest Beyblade X Tournament ever held in the UK, a significant milestone in the community's competitive scene. With an impressive turnout of 106 enthusiastic players, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation, ensuring that it would be a day to remember for all participants.. The event not only showcased the skill and strategy of the competitors but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among Beyblade enthusiasts from various backgrounds, all united by their passion for the game. To enhance this vibrant gathering, BBN London formed a partnership with a beloved local establishment, Boba Tra, a shop renowned for its delicious Banh Mi sandwiches and refreshing Bubble Tea. This collaboration brought a delightful culinary experience to the tournament, offering attendees a variety of tasty food and drinks to fuel their energy throughout the day. We had a large selection of imported Beyblades and custom accessories available for purchase. This variety allowed participants to expand their collections and customize their setups, which is crucial for gaining a competitive edge in tournaments. Players eagerly browsed through the stalls, examining the latest models and unique accessories, discussing strategies, and sharing tips on how to maximize their Beyblade performance. These tournaments organized by BBN London are particularly noteworthy as they are the only events in the UK that feature separate age divisions. This thoughtful arrangement aligns perfectly with the official regulations of the Asian championships, ensuring that competitors face opponents of similar age and skill levels. Such a structure not only promotes fairness in competition but also encourages younger players to participate, as they can compete against their peers without the intimidation of older, more experienced players. This commitment to inclusivity and adherence to international standards reflects BBN London's dedication to fostering a thriving Beyblade community in the UK. The Junior Division tournament kicked off first with a whopping 8 groups, each consisting of skilled bladers eager to showcase their talents and strategies. The tournament was structured in a group round robin format, which meant that every blader would face off against every other blader in their respective group once. The blader who emerged with the most wins in each group would then advance to a final round. The first stage of the tournament was conducted as a '1 on 1' match type, with a carefully curated ban list in place to maintain balance and fairness during these intense individual battles. The finals, however, took a more dynamic approach, transitioning to a thrilling '3 on 3' match type, where the ban list from the previous stage was lifted, allowing for a broader range of strategies and combinations testing the bladers' adaptability. Our finalists this year were an impressive lineup, including the formidable Max321LetItRip!, the strategic Albey, the consistent King B, the innovative VIV*123, the resilient Elias, the tactical Veer, the creative Ilyas38, and the determined Tate X. But of course, in a tournament of this caliber, there can only be one ultimate winner. This time, the coveted title was claimed by the exceptionally skilled Ilyas38, who demonstrated remarkable prowess and strategy throughout the competition not taking a single loss! Following closely behind, Veer secured an impressive 2nd place finish, while Tate X showcased commendable skills to take home the 3rd place trophy. Each of these top performers received not only trophies to commemorate their achievements but also the opportunity to select from a range of very exclusive prizes that are typically only available in Japan, making their victories even more special and memorable. However, this tournament was not just about individual accolades; it also marked a significant shift in the standings of the Junior National Leaderboard . Max321LetItRip!'s commendable 4th place finish was pivotal, as it earned him enough points to ascend to the top of the leaderboard, surpassing ReiChomp, who had held the coveted top spot since the beginning of the year. This change in rankings added an exciting layer of competition, as the leaderboard now featured a tightly contested race, with 3rd place being claimed by Theonix, who is also in close pursuit of the leaders. The dynamics of this leaderboard are sure to keep all participants motivated and engaged as they prepare for future tournaments. Congratulations are in order for everyone who participated in this thrilling event! Your dedication and passion for the sport have not gone unnoticed, and we look forward to seeing you all again next month for more exhilarating battles and unforgettable moments. Each tournament brings new opportunities for growth and competition, and we are excited to witness the evolution of each blader's journey. On to the Senior Division, where the excitement and intensity of competition reached new heights. The Seniors engaged in a dynamic '3 on 3' match type throughout the event, mirroring the group round robin structure in the Junior Division. However, the Senior groups were notably larger, allowing for a more extensive array of matchups. This setup not only provided each blader with the opportunity to showcase their skills but also ensured that they had ample chances to recover and make a comeback in case of a less than stellar start to their day. The format encouraged strategic thinking and adaptability, as bladers navigated their way through a series of challenging encounters against a diverse pool of opponents. Ultimately, two standout bladers advanced to the final stage of the tournament from each group. The finalists included a mix of both seasoned veterans and emerging talents: Edi, HarajuCuu, MattH6, Xatiiv, Toxic Shark, Chris X, ThePokeBlader, and D blade. After a series of intense battles, filled with nail-biting moments and unexpected turns, the victors finally emerged from the fray. However, the competition for the second and third places was so close that a replay was necessitated due to tied points, highlighting just how competitive the Senior Division had become. In an impressive display of skill and determination, Toxic Shark claimed the top spot, marking an incredible achievement as this was his first ever tournament! This victory was far from mere beginner's luck; Toxic Shark had meticulously devised a strategy that he adhered to throughout the tournament, demonstrating not only his talent but also his ability to think critically under pressure. Following closely behind in 2nd place was MattH6, a retro player with a rich history in the Beyblade community, boasting over 25 years of experience since the inception of Beyblade. This tournament marked a significant milestone for him, as it was his first time placing in a Beyblade X tournament, a feat that surely added to his storied legacy within the game. In 3rd place, we had ThePokeBlader, another veteran of the scene who has consistently placed highly and even secured victories in multiple Beyblade X tournaments in the past. His experience and skill have earned him a prominent position, as he currently sits comfortably at the top of the Senior National Leaderboard . The question now looms: can anyone catch up to him and challenge his reign? The competitive spirit of the Senior Division continues to thrive, promising even more thrilling contests in future tournaments. As you may be aware, we also hold a small yet exciting side event during our main tournament where bladers, spectators, and parents alike have the unique opportunity to see who can spin our Beyblade the longest. One of our judges armed with a stopwatch and a Top Gear style leaderboard records each bladers longest spin time. The leaderboard is prominently displayed, allowing everyone to keep track of their progress and see how they measure up against their peers. This time around, we are thrilled to announce that our Junior winner was Eli who crept to the top just before the end, while our Senior winner was JAB, who also took the win with a last minute entry. Congratulations to both winners on your well-deserved prizes! Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the next BBN London Beyblade X Tournament will take place on Saturday, 12th April. This upcoming event promises to be even more thrilling, with new challenges and opportunities for all participants. This dynamic team is led by BBN founder LeeDraciel, he not only earned the title of Bakuten Shoot Beyblade UK champion but also achieved the prestigious rank of world number 1 in Metal Fight Beyblade (MFB). Under his guidance, the team has flourished, becoming a beacon for Beyblade enthusiasts across the nation. We take pride in hosting a variety of thrilling tournaments every month throughout the UK, with our origins deeply rooted in the vibrant city of London, where our passion for Beyblade began and continues to thrive. The BBN is distinguished for holding the only Beyblade tournaments in the UK that feature separate age divisions, ensuring that competitors can engage in fair and balanced matches. These divisions include a Senior category for participants aged 13 and older, as well as a Junior category for those aged 12 and under. This structure not only promotes healthy competition but also fosters a sense of community among players of different ages, allowing younger participants to learn from their senior counterparts while also showcasing their own skills and talents. By providing these separate divisions, we aim to cultivate a welcoming environment where all Beyblade enthusiasts, regardless of their age, can come together to share their love for the game, compete fiercely, and build lasting friendships. Let's take a moment to recap the exhilarating London BBN tournaments that took place in both January and February. It’s evident that both divisions attracted a diverse array of fierce competitors spanning all ages, ranging from complete beginners who were just stepping into the world of Beyblade to seasoned players with years of experience under their belts. Each Beyblade X tournament brought with it a plethora of surprises, showcasing unique matchups and unexpected outcomes. The element of unpredictability was a prominent theme, as there were even remarkable instances where newcomers, who were initially perceived as underdogs, managed to clinch victory in their groups and advanced to the finals! This unpredictability is what makes the world of Beyblade so thrilling—truly, anything can happen! The Junior Division (25/01/25): We began the day with the Junior division, which was filled with excitement. The lively whirr of Beyblades being launched into action resonated throughout the college hall in Finchley, creating an atmosphere charged with anticipation. Parents and children alike gathered their wits, engaging in animated discussions about strategies and techniques. As the initial chaos began to settle down, competitors meticulously prepared and finalized their Beyblade combos, ensuring that every detail was optimized for battle. The BBN Junior division kicked off to a fantastic start, with heated battles erupting all around as the young bladers showcased their skills and creativity! The finalists for January were an impressive lineup: Grace, HARRY343DRANZ, ReiChomp, Redxblader, FluffitoInOhio, and Max321LetItRip! These talented bladers fought valiantly in their first major tournament of 2025, demonstrating remarkable determination and skill. They undoubtedly started the year with a bang, leaving a memorable mark on the tournament scene! Congratulations to all of them for not only their participation but also for winning fantastic prizes and the highly coveted BBN trophies, which are symbols of their hard work and dedication! The competition continued to heat up, with ReiChomp securing an impressive 3rd place and taking home the bronze trophy. HARRY343DRANZ followed closely behind, achieving 2nd place and earning the silver trophy for his commendable performance. Both competitors demonstrated exceptional skill and tenacity as they navigated through a field of many talented rivals. However, there can only be one gold trophy, and this time it was awarded to Max321LetItRip, who triumphed and celebrated his victory! Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding achievements and for earning the sought-after prizes and BBN trophies! The Senior Division(25/01/25): Now, let’s shift our focus to the Senior division, where the competition was equally fierce and exciting. This division featured a good mix of newcomers, alongside regulars who had been part of the Beyblade community since the inception of the first generation, as well as long-time enthusiasts who have maintained their passion for Beyblade throughout various iterations of the game. The diversity of experience levels added a rich layer of complexity to the matches, and it was evident that Beyblade X had a unique way of leveling the playing field, allowing participants of all skill levels to showcase their abilities and potentially dominate the competition. What stood out the most, however, was the palpable enjoyment radiating from everyone involved; it was clear that all participants were having a great time and relishing the experience. The January Senior finalists included the formidable competitors: Lotoftoast, Valious, Xatiiv, Haemon, ThePokeBlader, and Albertino. Albertino made a remarkable debut by taking home the bronze BBN trophy in his very first tournament, a feat that many seasoned players can only dream of achieving. Lotoftoast, who is no stranger to top 3 finishes, secured the silver trophy, adding yet another accolade to his impressive record. And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—drum roll please… Xatiiv emerged victorious, clinching 1st place, receiving the prestigious gold trophy, and earning the first pick of the prizes, a reward that reflects not only his skill but also his strategic prowess throughout the tournament. The excitement and camaraderie shared among the competitors made this event a memorable one, and it set a high standard for the tournaments to come. On to February! At this exciting event, we introduced a sales table, which provides bladers with a fantastic opportunity to purchase unique items, as well as imported releases that would typically be overpriced in other venues. This addition was met with enthusiasm, as it allowed participants to enhance their collections with exclusive merchandise, accessories, and limited-edition releases that catered specifically to their interests and needs within the community. In addition to the sales table, we had the pleasure of showcasing a giant custom stadium for participants to engage in thrilling exhibition matches. This impressive structure was meticulously crafted by one of our talented members, Valious, who put in considerable effort and creativity to ensure it was not only functional but also visually striking. The stadium became a central hub of activity, drawing in both seasoned competitors and newcomers alike, all eager to test their skills and strategies in this expansive arena. The Junior Division(16/02/25): As the competition unfolded, we witnessed an intense showdown among the participants, culminating in a final round that featured an impressive lineup of finalists: Tombladerx, Shadow Burst, Cameron, Platonjr15, Finxgamer, and Redxblader. After an exhilarating round robin final, the results were clear, with distinct 1st and 2nd place winners emerging from the fray. However, the competition was so fierce that it led to a thrilling three-way tie for third place. To resolve this exciting impasse, we decided to host a battle royal, utilizing the latest Takara Tomy 3-player stadium, which was graciously brought along by our member AtmosphereRQL. The atmosphere was electric as the competitors faced off in this dynamic format, and after a series of exhilarating confrontations governed by the three-way battle rules, Finxgamer emerged victorious, claiming 3rd place. Redxblader secured the 2nd place position, while Cameron triumphed as the champion, taking home the prestigious gold trophy and enjoying the honor of having the first pick from the amazing prize pool that awaited the winners. The Senior Division(16/02/25): As expected, the competition in the Senior Division was exceptionally high, showcasing the skills and strategies of some of the best bladers in the community. After a series of intense battles that tested the mettle of each participant, we arrived at the final stage featuring six finalists, each representing the top player from their respective round robin groups. The elite six comprised ThePokeBlader, BlacKPhoeniX, Lotoftoast, Opal, Kelsxgamer, and BiggAdz, all of whom demonstrated remarkable prowess throughout the tournament. The finals were structured as another round robin stage, where each player faced off against one another once, with the blader accumulating the most points declared the winner. Excitement was in the air as spectators rallied behind their favorite competitors, creating an electrifying atmosphere that added to the thrill of the matches. In a surprising turn of events, 3rd place was claimed by BiggAdz, one of our newer bladers who showcased impressive skill and determination. The competition at the top was so fierce that it resulted in a tie, leading to an epic final round replay that had everyone on the edge of their seats, cheering passionately for their favorites. Ultimately, 2nd place went to Opal, a returning player from the MFB days who proved that experience is invaluable in such competitive settings. Our champion, however, was none other than Lotoftoast, who, after finishing in 2nd place in January, took one step further this time and proudly walked away with the gold! Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding performances and sportsmanship! The competitors in both the January and February tournaments truly did amazingly well, showcasing their skills and dedication in a highly competitive environment. It’s essential to recognize that battling in tournaments of this magnitude is no small feat! Participants faced off against some of the best bladers, each bringing their unique strategies and techniques to the arena. Whether you're aiming for the coveted top spot or simply looking to enjoy the camaraderie and excitement of the event, the BBN tournaments offer a vibrant atmosphere where you can engage with like-minded individuals who share your passion for Beyblade. This environment not only fosters competition but also encourages personal growth and the honing of skills, as bladers learn from one another and push each other to improve. As for our side event, BBN's very own 'Spin to Win' was exceptionally well received, with many enthusiastic participants spinning their way to the top during both our January and February tournaments. As the name suggests, the champions of the 'Spin to Win' event demonstrated their remarkable talents by managing to spin a single generic Beyblade combo for the longest duration. This event not only added an extra layer of excitement but also allowed competitors to showcase their finesse and control. The winners were rewarded with fantastic prizes, which added to the thrill of the competition. Interestingly, we had two inspiring instances of parent and child winners emerging from two separate events, highlighting the notion that talent and passion for Beyblade can indeed run in the family! Congratulations are in order for iRex and his daughter WolfiePops, as well as TeodorM and Kristyna Outara, who excelled in spinning the longest during the January tournament and walked away with some impressive prizes. Additionally, our February 'Spin to Win' winners, the dynamic duo of Mother and son, M blade and A blade, also deserve a round of applause for their outstanding performance. Congratulations to them as well! It’s important to note that the Beyblade Battle Network UK tournaments are open to everyone, regardless of skill level or experience. • Beyblade Battle Tournament 29th Sep 24

This event marked the soft launch of the Beyblade Battle Network! We made an announcement followed by a quick rundown of some future plans and what to expect from the new website. We tried something different for the tournament format this time. It was a 1 on 1 event where players had to register their Beyblade combo upon arrival. They had to stick with their chosen Beyblade for the entire day without making any changes. This event was aimed at new players while still providing a challenge for experienced players. By not allowing players to change, experienced players weren't able to gain the upper hand by using their knowledge and larger collection of parts to counter opponents. Less experienced players were able to arrive with a single Beyblade and compete on an even playing field. We also trialed a system where players of all ages competed together in a group round robin format, however there were two separate finals. The top player from each group would advance to the overall finals, players aged 12 and under would participate in a junior final round based on points scored across all groups. Overall we felt that it went well but have decided that holding two separate tournaments for each age division is the better option going forward. Players battled hard and before long we had our junior division finalists. In 3rd place was Kiearn! Up until this event he had only played Beyblade Burst, but despite this being his first experience with Beyblade X he transferred his skilled effortlessly to take home the bronze trophy. In 2nd place was Theo D! Theo almost topped his group stage overall which would have meant he would compete in both finals. He held his own against the older players and he calmly took home the silver trophy. In 1st place and our junior division champion was Theo B! He had a slow start in the group stages but gradually found his stride and started taking out his opponents. He put his heart into each battle and called upon his mighty Phoenix the finish off his opponents. He took home the gold trophy in his very first tournament. In the overall finals we saw Wissam take 3rd. In 2nd place was Shivan4lyf. This was his first tournament so he done well to take home silver. Our overall winner taking 1st place was Kane aka LotofToast! He isn't a stranger to being in the finals but until now he never quite managed to take that top spot. He overcame a lot of tough matches and as a result, the points he gained also put him at the very top of our leaderboard. Congratulations on reaching the # 1 spot and taking home that gold trophy. Videos of the tournament will be posted on our socials soon so please follow us on all platforms for updates.

  • Schools Out for Beyblade!

In our most recent event we took over a school that was closed for the summer holidays. 74 players battled it out for the top spot. The event used a Swiss format and took the top 16 through to a single elimination final round. Players battled hard with the crowd watching the action on a jumbo screen. The winners were: 1st Place - GET_JINXED 2nd Place - Grimmbae 3rd Place - ThePokeBlader
